On 30-Apr-00, Robert Bondy said something totally profound about [amigaOS3_5] Re: Fujitsu 20G IDE_HDD that made me ponder...

3.5 has recognized ALL unitialized/unformatted drives I have installed in the
system. The biggest problem I had with 3.5 goes back to my earlier post
concerning the corrupt filesystem on my boot partition. I have had no other
problem with 3.5 and uninit'd drives on my A500, A1000, and A4000.

A lot of work, but i had to go through a similar procedure to correct the bad
fs but instead of booting to a 3.0 floppy, I used the 3.5 emergency disk.
